E&M Department MCL HQ aims to facilitate smooth operations of mines for achieving the targetted OB Removal, Coal Production & Dispatch by ensuring uninterrupted power supply arrangement, timely supply of materials & efficient working of equipment.

 

Activities
    1 PROCUREMENT (CAPITAL & REVENUE ITEMS) & WORKS (CAPITAL)
    A
    		 Procurement of Capital P&M Items like pumps motors, Power & Lighting transformers, DG Sets, Vehicles, Unitised Sub Stations, Lighting towers etc to ensure smooth operations in Mines and uninterrupted work at offices.
    B
    		 Preparation of Material Budget in advance for procurement Centralized Revenue Items like MS Pipes, HDPE Pipes, Conductors, Cables, Belting, Rollers etc. for all areas of MCL to cater to expanding mines and monsoon preparation activities

    		 Preparation & standardization of Technical Parameters Sheet (TPS) and Other Terms & Conditions

    2 SOLAR PLANT

    		 Tendering, Operation and maintenance of Ground mounted and Rooftop Solar Power Plants

    		 Monitoring of Energy generation of 2Mwp Ground mounted and 1.21 MWp Rooftop Solar power plants

    		 Monitoring of reduction in carbon emissions of 2Mwp Ground mounted and 1.21 MWp Rooftop Solar power plants

    3 ERP IMPLEMENTATION

    		 Management of Master Data such as Equipment, Function Location, Class & Characteristics, Maintenance Plan, Task List, Catalog, BOM, Work Centre, Measuring Points, Counters, permits, Inspection Plan etc.

    		 Digitalization of maintenance activities including quality inspection/sales view, active maintenance, reactive maintenance, condition based maintance, caliberations of weighbridges, refurbishment and other unavoidables measures for Plant Maintainance.

    5 SURVEY OFF

    		 Pocurement, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of Rail In-Motion, Road In-Motion and Road Static Weighbridges.

1 Pioneering in Solar Power generation among all subsidaries of CIL. MCL was the first subsidiary of CIL to install Solar Power Plant of 2MWp Capacity
2 3.21 MWp Solar Power Plants were commissioned.
3 Reduction of 11,767.503 tonnes of CO2 emissions from existing Solar Power Plants till September 2022
4 For the first time Mobile crushers (electrically operated)  for crushing of coal at stocks have been deployed on hiring mode
5 Coordination with CMPDI, RI-VII and other departments for timely execution of the FMC contracts.
6 The scheme and NIT was prepared in short period and the contract has been finalized and the work has commenced.
7 NIT for the O&M contracts of CHP/SILO Projects is being streamlined.
8 The special task of rennovation of 33 yrs old CHP/RLS of Bharatpur is being taken up .
9 All the drawing scrutiny of FMC Projects are being done timely to ensure completion of the Project
10 Tenders for Siarmal and Subhadra OCP in MDO Mode were awarded.
11 Coordination with CMPDI, RI-VII and other departments for timely execution of the FMC contracts.
12 All Rail In-motion weighbridges at different railway sidings have been integrated with FOIS  Continuous persuasion of CAMC holders resulted in improved availability of Road and Rail Weighbridges which in turn resulted in achieving Targeted coal dispatch.
